Early Years Relief Qualified/Unqualified Practitioner
About You
- You will be an Early Years Educator with a passion for giving children the very best start in life.
- GCSE Maths and English C or above
- Demonstrate a desire to continually grow as a practitioner and a dream to progress in the Early Years
sector.
- Have experience in and be able to display your knowledge in looking after children.
- Embrace the partnership between practitioners and parents
- You are a good communicator and have an aptitude to interact with the children, your colleagues, and
families.
- Have an understanding of the individual and diverse needs of children
- Have a good understanding of child development.
Key Responsibilities
Early Years Practitioners as part of a defined team are responsible for a cohort of
children within Kensal or Parsons House Nursery.

Support the mission and objectives of Turnditch Preschool 'Tiggers' by your contribution to a high quality and effective team within the setting.

Participate and deliver activities within the team and preschool room effectively and maintain high standards in relation to all children and families.
- To be a key person to a group of children, maintaining children’s records on their achievement, assessment
and ensure that children of the group are making good progress and that their needs are met.
- To be an effective and supportive team member and provide effective communication with other members and
report timely to the manager of any issues/signs of progress/important updates.
- To contribute to a termly and monthly plan with the team and produce teaching plans for their own key
children.

As part of an Early Years team, provide a positive, constructive, and creative environment for under 5’s and further the seven areas of learning as specified in EYFS and
Curriculum Plans
Experience
-
Unqualified - Childcare experience 1 year preferred

Level 2 Early Years and Education

Level 3 Early Years and Education
-
Paediatric First Aid preferred
Hours & Pay
-
Between 8.15am - 3.15pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, when required.

Pay level is dependant on qualification and experience
